Project. Modern Tapestry. An update of the Bayeux Tapestry: a gigantic wall hanging that depicted the major news events of its day.  Modern Tapestry also depicted major news events of our time -- one panel per week for a whole year. Dozens of artists were involved from all over the world. The final Modern Tapestry appeared as an online “wall hanging” and printed on an enormous strip of cloth, covering the walls of an entire gallery in Amsterdam. It was reported in newspapers as far afield as Canada.
