Project. Part of a poster series encouraging kids to “make friends with death” by placing symbols of mortality in scenes reminiscent of children’s picture books. 

Reason being: Western culture sees death as a taboo, certainly compared to other parts of the world (famously, Mexico’s Day of The Dead).

If we could teach our kids a more playful, accepting view of death, perhaps they’d grow up to be a little less neurotic.
