The protagonist is a little boy who (as the title suggests) finds himself on the wrong planet -- namely, the Earth. So accompanied by his cat, he sets out to discover a world that works for him.
The book’s idea comes from a common way of explaining autism to non-autistic people: “It just feels like I’m on the wrong planet.”
